What is the goal of the association?
The Hungarian Odoo Partners Association (MOPSZ) was established to unite domestic Odoo partners and, through their cooperation, ensure the effective and continuously updated localization of the system in Hungary. We build on common foundations, develop together, and jointly define the directions that truly respond to the needs of Hungarian businesses.
MOPSZ membership is not automatic: only partners who are professionally and ethically reliable, and active members of the Odoo community can join. This ensures that within the association, not only the development but also the quality of customer service remains consistent and high.
Our goal is to offer faster, more reliable, and more consistent solutions for the entire Hungarian Odoo community – and to ensure that the MOPSZ name stands as a true guarantee of quality for every client who chooses Odoo.

MOPSZ’s vision is a unified, open, and active professional community capable of sustainably supporting the long-term development of Odoo in Hungary. We are building a localization that not only complies with local regulations but can also flexibly adapt to changes — providing a stable foundation for the digital operations of Hungarian businesses.
Our goal is to ensure that HU+ and community developments remain freely accessible, while with the professional support of MOPSZ members, more and more companies can adopt Odoo as a real alternative to traditional ERP systems. In addition, we want the Hungarian community to continue to have a voice and influence in Odoo’s international development in the future.
We believe that through joint development, open knowledge sharing, and unified representation, MOPSZ can become not just a technical alliance, but the driving force of the Hungarian Odoo ecosystem.

What is HU+?
HU+ is a community-developed, comprehensive extension of Odoo’s Hungarian invoicing system, tailored to local regulations and business practices. While Odoo’s default Hungarian module allows for invoice creation and submission to the Hungarian Tax Authority (NAV), in everyday use, several details arise that the base version does not fully address. HU+ fills these gaps, ensuring that Odoo can be used smoothly and effectively in the Hungarian market.
What does the basic Odoo invoicing offer?
Odoo’s default Hungarian invoicing module allows for invoice creation and automatic submission to the NAV Online Invoice system. This core functionality provides a sufficient starting point for many businesses. However, to meet the specific needs of the Hungarian market—such as advance invoices, continuous performance, or foreign exchange rate handling—additional extensions are required to ensure smooth, regulation-compliant daily operations.
What does HU+ invoicing offer to the Odoo system?
The HU+ module supplements Odoo's basic invoicing solution with the following key features to ensure that it can be used in accordance with Hungarian legislation and practice, while the additional accounting features are included in MOPSZ EXTRA.

Invoice document type handling
Issuing advance and final invoices, cancellations, and credit notes – in accordance with Hungarian invoicing logic. -

A separate field for recording the original issue date of incoming invoices and for accounting traceability. -
VAT performance date handling
The VAT performance date can be specified for both outgoing and incoming invoices. -

Pro-Forma Invoice Management
Pro-Forma and advance invoice process adapted to Hungarian practices. -
Pro forma invoice handling
Pro forma invoices can be managed as standalone documents and automatically converted into advance invoices. -
Cash accounting invoices
Invoices can be specifically marked as subject to cash accounting, providing more accurate bookkeeping records.
